The UNO Training, Resource and Assistive-technology Center (TRAC) offers a comprehensive assessment of an individual's interests, aptitudes, abilities, and vocational potential. The results of the vocational evaluation can provide appropriate recommendations for training or employment. UNO's vocational evaluation services are available to any individual with a disability. Assistive technology is incorporated into the assessment to replicate accommodations that can be used in school or on the job. The Center's intensive, four-day evaluation is individualized to provide the best information for use in developing a rehabilitation plan for employment. It is a process designed to identify an individual's strengths. Interviewing, testing, inventories, work samples, and other components are used to assist an individual in career exploration and in making an appropriate vocational choice. Specific areas assessed include: Interests Two-day assessments are available for consumers who do not need the comprehensive vocational evaluation.
